Anyone alive shortly before January 1, 2000 well remember the doomsday fear of total computer shutdown and chaos. Jan 1, 2000 was one of the most peaceful days and completely uneventful.
If the "doomsday" happens, I want to be the FIRST one to get nuked and get it over with. To live in such a world, literally would be hell on earth! Doomsday survivalists will have to fight and kill to protect even the smallest crumb of bread they may have. And if you're looking for that isolated spot ... well ... probably a hundred million other RVers will beat you to the spot! (Provided you have enough fuel to get you there!
I work in IT also. I gave up the notion of doomsday a long time ago. I was almost at complete paranoia. It just wasn't a healthy way to live NOW!
