A subjective question for sure!
Many lump the emissions compliance with quality. 2004 is year EGR's showed up. 2007 is the year for DPF. 2010 is the year for DEF, if I remember these correctly.
Another thing is not all DP are created equal. A 600ISX Coach is light years from the ISB Coach….and I mean by more than the ~ 300HP. engine difference.
I just stopped by MHofT to look at their selection, they have 20-30 MH's in the year range you talk about. We looked at Prevost, Monaco, Foretravel and Country Coach. They had a Newell we did not look at.
Each brand has its weak spots, if you will.
Foretravel has bulkhead issues in some years, also, they made very few 42-43 ft MH's.
Prevost has some issues with how they were converted roof air vs cruise air, for example.
Country coach has dry PTO vs Wet PTO
Monaco, since I own one, I have to nitpick. Plastic dash panels are cheap looking and the ISL is not the same as the ISM's and C13's in the other MH's, etc.
By now you should see the same names coming up, again. You will eventually have to buy one to continue the learning process. Others experience can take only so far.
