Yes. Good point to raise. I am lucky as we live in gated community with 24hr security and rv is in locked up compound at night.
Oh, we own a home in the county/suburbs on a very private wooded 2 acre lot amid recently built McMansions but rent it out so we can live in the city where we can walk to restaurants and shops; we love the excitement of the city and think it is well worth the occasional theft, and needing to lock our doors and garages. Actually, my aunt had the adjoining property in the country/burbs and while she was gone robbers broke in and stole everything that wasnt nailed down. My philosophy is "if you got it, they see it, they want it, they will get it."
