Tenbear, I just finished installing my inverter, but I did it a little bit different that yours. I connected the positive and negative wires to the batteries, which are under the steps, then inserted the wires thru pre-existing holes next to the batteries, then fished them thru a cavity behind the sink. I wired the wires to the inverter, which I mounted against the back wall of the sink, away from any potential water source. I can connect an extension cord to the inverter as it is, but later on, I plan to run an electrical wire under the floor, and to the front of the motorhome, so I can run my DVD player, which runs on 110.
