Aspen - Colorado - Date for Golden trees?
Tring to schedule a quick trip to the Mountains to see this years color, What do the locals think is the best date to catch the color? Vail, late last year September 29th State web site....

Last year we were thru Vail on Sept. 22nd and had great colors. On the weekend of Oct. 17th we went to Durango and saw the best colors ever over Wolf Creek Pass. Each part of the state is different based on weather conditions. This pic is from Eleven Mile Reservoir on Oct. 11, 2014.
