Tring to schedule a quick trip to the Mountains to see this years color, What do the locals think is the best date to catch the color? Vail, late last year September 29th State web site....

We found the 3rd to 4th weeks of September best for the awesome Colorado color at high elevations. The drive on Hwy 550 from Ouray to Durango will forever be in our mind. Perfect weather and perfect Jeeping!
