I believe most have found that going straight through on I-75 is easier than taking 285 as long as you are not going through during rush hour. Through trucks are not supposed to go through on I-75 so I-285 traffic is heavy with trucks.

We will be traveling from Adairsville GA to Modoc Ga to stay at Hamilton Branch Rv campground right near Plum Branch SC-Thanks for the help - Why would I want to get in the left lane if I am driving a MH and towing a Toad? Are the exits on the left lane??? Rich

GA 20, x290 cartersville. Puts you on I85 at mm116. Many lights and some turns, watch your signs.
