- The_TexanExplorerCall Foothills RV at 928-342-5011 and talk to Micky, the owner. He has one mobile tech, Ernie that knows them inside out and can change it out in an hour ±. I'm sure his other techs are well versed on them, but I had Ernie last year when mine bit the dust. His prices are among the best for mobile service here in Yuma.

Picture of the borken wire, probably due to rust and vibration. We might try to crimp and reconnect. - They show the TMH 50-2. You can use ANY RV 50 amp transfer switch. They are not specific to any RV. All you have to do, is make sure your 3- 120 cables have enough slack to do a modification on mounting the cables. I am pretty sure, in wintertime in the YUMA area, there are scores of part suppliers, especially Transfer boxes. https://www.amazon.com/Technology-Research-4126000101-Transfer-Switch/dp/B00A0RB4A8/ref=pd_cp_86_1/168-4081488-9539542?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00A0RB4A8&pd_rd_r=0HSN906E6TF8H1KHFENM&pd_rd_w=6geE8&pd_rd_wg=wwKm7&psc=1&refRID=0HSN906E6TF8H1KHFENMThis is the one Tiffins use now and will work. Hi, my friend has a Tiffin Phantheon 2009 and his Auto transfer switch TMH50-3 is not working.
Do you know any good electrical / RV shop in Yuma?
Any replaceable parts in there, or fuses, I hope so? One wire is brown.
Thanks.
There are replaceable parts, but since the Transfer box is 8 years old, it is best to replace the complete box. Cost of box is from $175 to $250. Doug
I have checked on the Web for a TMH50-3 and could not locate one so far.
tons listed on the web
I tried again and could not find any TMH50-3 transfer switch, do you have any web site?
Thanks - accsysExplorerGive Tiffin parts a call at 256-356-0261, ext 5. You can also temporarily bypass the transfer switch with a terminal strip similar to this one.
A multi-meter should be used to verify that power is not getting across the transfer switch before doing anything however - a discolored wire is not proof of that, especially on a coach of that age.
