But, we all agree it's coming. The actual timeframe is the unknown. Personally I feel it'll be much quicker than we think. As the technology matures more and more of it will be taking control of your cars, you won't have a choice.
I can imagine those who wish to hang on to their driver in control cars could become a liability, as in a problem for this technology to work "properly". More like you can't trust drivers to be dependable and consistent in driving their cars. Road rage, speeders, loafers, drunk drivers, etc, all will bring the technology to a halt if we all aren't part of the same system.
Many things are in the cars now. Auto parking, lane departure warning,auto braking, adaptive cruise control, etc.
But how will it affect the RV industry?
