Awning on rear window

Thanks for the comments. It is the bedroom so blocking the view is fine. I can block the view by pulling the shades or just using the sun screens but if I can let some light in and block out some sun that is my goal. I didn't recall having seen an awning on a back window so thought perhaps the wind wrapping around might stress the struts. I am going to get an awning for one of my living room windows and think I will get one for that rear window as well.
