Awning strap replacement
Putting my awning away today and the strap broke right near the awning. Of course the awning slammed all the way up. Any ideas how I can improvise a fix to finish out my trip? Thx

I believe they were asking how to open it with out the strap, and that is, unlock it, pull it down by the arms requires two people. after you get it deployed like normal. you'll find there is a slot, that the strap slides into and out of , slide the old broken piece out, then reverse the process to install the new strap.
