Awning strap replacement
Putting my awning away today and the strap broke right near the awning. Of course the awning slammed all the way up. Any ideas how I can improvise a fix to finish out my trip? Thx

Do as "Tom/Barb" suggested above and then fix it the old fashion way. Remove the strap and hand sew it back together. It will get you through the trip.
The awning strap just slides into a round slot. If you can't repair the old piece find a 2" - 3" piece of hard plastic tubing or metal tubing that fits in the slot. Run a piece of cord through the tubing, creating about a 5' loop and slide it into the slot. It will work until you get home.
