We don't exactly use our B as a daily driver, but we sure do take it a lot of places. We've used it for Costco runs, over-nighted in friends driveways, taken it to drive-in movies (which totally rocks!), and we've even slept in the parking lot of my brother's apartment building. It's definitely bigger than a regular car, but at 19' it's about the same size as the Dodge Ram we used to own. The ride is comfortable and the rig is very easy to drive. I think it would be great for traveling and sight-seeing between your two home destinations.
