My wife drove a Chevy 3/4 ton full size van for years as her daily driver. We live in a metro of well over a million people. My next personal vehicle may be a RT 170P. Having owned a 190P and 210P, I would be comfortable driving the 170 as my daily driver. It would be FUN! I would keep my Phoenix Cruiser C for camping because of the room. We boondock for weeks at a time and need the C tanks and space.
Surface lots instead of multistory covered parking seems to me to be the major disadvantage. I don't mind parking a few yards away from others and walking. I wouldn't consider this if I was not in good shape and was driving a lot, but I simply don't put that many miles on my daily driver anymore.
You just have to remember: these are not cars and not SUVs. I wouldn't consider anything larger than a 170 would work for me.
