Google "Mercedes Sprinter rust". Read the links and look at the images.
If one drives their RV in winter on roads loaded with salt, rust is to be expected in most rvs so Sprinter is no exception. Not a good idea anyway. When I lived in Ontario I had my vehicles specially undercoated for that reason. In BC that isn't a problem, at least where I live. I have driven 2 C classes and a B class with not one case of rust anywhere. You see the odd Ontario car here and if youlook under the hood you can see the telltale white/grey dusting from the salt on the engine components.
