back to class a? dp tips?

early this spring we sold our old Winnebago and bought a crossroads cruiser 5ver. found a f350 to pull it. we enjoy it and we will keep for a while. works for us. LOL cant wait to get back into a class a though!

its funny wife brought it up first and I was a little put off by it. I thought we have this nice newer fiver and then I realized all I missed.

so what recommendations or what should I absolutely stay away from if we look for a used entry level diesel pusher?

  • Funny how different weather zone makes whole World of difference in camping.
What we hated about DP was very hot master when you pulled into the spot.
The darn Detroit took 3-4 hr to cool down in CA weather.

    So what do you miss??

We miss the stability of hydraulic leveling and four of us plus two dogs in a truck is tight. We miss pulling into a spot and the coach already being cool or warm. There were a few things that pushed us to the fiver but... I think we will go back. Just not sure when.
  • Been back and forth 4 times now. Currently in a class A and probably here for good, lol

No doubt. When we're ready I'll sell our fiver private sale.
  • We went from a fiver to a Class A & miss nothing about the fiver.
