Back to the class A side

Well just sitting here waiting to go pick up our gently used 2016 Newmar Baystar 3401.
Just shy of 3 years in the TT. It was a nice layout and pulled well but the overall quality and experience that I had hoped for.
We owned our previous class A for 10 + years and had many (over 110,000) miles of fun and travel.
I have decided I can do the gasser in this MH our last was an airstream DP.
We look forward to the new coach it seems to be well made and I hope Newmar built this one with care and pride.
DW can get back to using the facilities and making snacks etc... without pulling over and going back to the TT. I know the rough ride of our 2500 HD Ram will not be missed.
So I will be over on the class A forum again from time to time.
  • Picked it up a very nice coach. I hear you about the cc I will load it up and get the corner and axle weights. So much storage room it would be easy to overload. going to tow a 2001 Saturn that has been around since new so toad weight is minimal.

The only "Warning" I will give you is careful of the Cargo Carrying Capacity. Gassers are a tad anemic in that area.> Likewise towing is limited.. Though the hitch is usually rated 5,000 pounds. the Vehicle (in my case) 4,000. if fully loaded (1,000 pounds cargo) I need to lose weight (Actually (I need to lose volume of junque but that will lose weight. )
  • I am working on get back to a Class A from my FW when it sells, personally I think Class A easier for me.

Come over whether or not you have a class A. There's always stuff to learn and anybody can contribute. RV'ing is RV'ing. :) Try having an A, C, and TT.... It keeps life interesting. :p
  • Class A side is the right side, glad you figured it out but do not tell anyone.
Remember with a new coach comes problems; hope all yours are minor and fixable by you.
