Balancing tires, what's best?

I'm not sure what size tires but I prefer to have my tires balanced the "Vibration Control System" made by Hunter Engineering. The GSP9700 is a road force wheel balancer that tests the tire for high or hard spots on the tread. Most new car dealers use them to balance the tires on their vehicles. Many truck tire shops also use them. I've tried the CentraMatics without any luck - they're setting in my garage now - wasted money. I dislike the idea of throwing bags of crystals/beads inside tires to balance them - every time you start, the beads have to redistribute themselves as you get going.
