Please look at your manual and tell me:
How soon after starting the engine should I go to fast idle?
What RPM is ideal for the fast idle setting?
We know that we shouldn't idle for a long time, how many minutes is a long time?
What exactly is the harm of low idle speeds over time?
None of this is in my manual and if it were, I wouldn't ask the question on this forum.
