Wll a blue ox base plate work with a Roadmaster tow bar?
It might, or it might not depending on the specific models.
HOWEVER: Recently I purchased a new towed. I went to the hitch center and ask for a BLUE OX base plate to be installed.. Another customer said "So, Is blue ox the best?" I answered.. I Alreay have Blue Ox tow bars so it's the ONLY".
LIke someone upthread. I do not recommend mixing brands. Safer to have all one manufacturer, that way, if something happens (Bad something) you know who to blame.
I have, in my life, seen three different technicians all standing there saying "It's the other guy's fault" and pointing at each other.
Finally one of them proved who's fault it was and the next day it was fixed.
