Battery pad that inhibits corrosion on the tray

Have any of you heard of a hard cardboard material that sits under the battery and inhibits corrosion on the tray? I remember coming across this type of material on the job when installing stand-by C...

Battery corrosion mats are avaliable at "batterymat.com" found them for $4.95. They have a phone number 1-800-405-2121. I placed my batteries in plastic battery boxes. Those used in the marine industry. Then painted my tray with Por-15. Worked great.
