Battery pad that inhibits corrosion on the tray

Have any of you heard of a hard cardboard material that sits under the battery and inhibits corrosion on the tray? I remember coming across this type of material on the job when installing stand-by C...

I have used the battery mat and it works Great!
I have a fresh paint job on a vintage car and the brand new battery started leaking at the top seam. The mat absorbed all of the acid and saved my fresh paint.
I have a new mat on the way along with mats for our other vehicles.
