Battery pad that inhibits corrosion on the tray

Have any of you heard of a hard cardboard material that sits under the battery and inhibits corrosion on the tray? I remember coming across this type of material on the job when installing stand-by C...

What he said. I cleaned and painted my battery tray years ago, and it still looks new. POR15; it's worth it. Also, the more moisture it is exposed to, the harder it cures. No chip, peel, cracking. The end of rust. Period.
