I really like this grill. Have smoked pork butts,brisket and a bunch of salmon and cod fish on it. Grilled burgers and a bunch of steaks.

What is the make & model of your smoker? We're looking for one to take along camping, and yours looks like it might fit the bill.

Get the new Traeger PTG pellet BBQ/grill. Small for the RV works great. Only problem is you will eat a lot more meat. I love mine.

We have had a George Forman (round ) Electric grill for the last 5 years and it works great.Gets VERY hot if you want it too. Has a ribbed solid surface teflon like grill> Plugs into the outside patio plug and keeps the smoke etc outside No flame easy clean up. Haha, This could easily turn into a charcoal vs. electric vs. propane... I like me meats smoked over real wood or coal. Do electrics cook food though - yes.

I've used both electric and propane grills. (Well, charcoal too for that matter. Too messy for traveling in the RV). The electrics work well - I still use the George Foreman - but do not get that grilled flavor you get from a gas grill.

We've always felt the Weber Q series to be the best, but I now have a Cuisinart table top grill.

It is the cutest little thing, legs fold up underneath and it carries like a suitcase. Has a sliding lock in front and a built in lighter. Cooks enough for two and works well for us. The set up and break down is so simple and easy - unfold the legs, slide open the lock, attach the propane bottle and you are up and running. It is very lightweight, small, and fits easily into the basement.

I'll preface this post by saying that 'we are not cooks'... so, electric is fine for us. We used a small round electric grill that worked fine for years (actually had two as a leg broke on the first one). When we do cook, which is for two people only,... maybe a couple of small steaks, vegetables wrapped in foil seasoned with salt, pepper and olive oil and plastic wrapped baked potato's in the microwave.

The new coach came with an electric stainless steel smokeless grill. I have not taken it out of the plastic yet. I heard that I could use it inside but probably never will (outside only).

I don't know what type of grill you looked at, but almost ALL Boat Marina docks require ONLY electric grills, NO LP or Charcoal, and the owner of our dealership has used Electric for years at his Boat dock at the Marina with no complaints. NOT on his boat, but on the Dock itself. Doug

Sorry, I didn't understand your post. I'm from the Southeast where BBQ is a dish made from pork with either a vinegar or a ketchup-based sauce.... not an action or a piece of equipment... lol! J/K with ya.....
