A few years ago, we had our awning come unfurled and billowed like a sail in heavy winds at 60mph. Luckily it only cost us new fabric installation. I had a $50 awning lock device installed along with the new fabric. When I am following an overloaded truck with sloppy looking tie-downs,I get in another lane ASAP.
