Thanks for the help. Let me rephrase my question. What is the reputation of this company and their coaches?

We purchased a new Berkshire in 2011, after owning 2 Fleeetwood products. Did a lot of looking and felt Berkshire had best value for the money. Haven't been a bit sorry. We have 360-RB model, and no major problems (all coaches have something go wrong). Forest River also has great service and if you purchase; you seriously must consider joining the Forest River Owners Group (FROG). Annual rallies, and service can't be touched by any other company. We have traveled 42000 mile towing, and just did major interior upgrade last year. Highly recommend the Berkshire, but evaluate coach against your needs and desires. Good luck!

X2 - On Forest River company support through the Owner's Group.

I'm not a Berkshire owner, but am a FR Sunseeker owner, and appreciate the support from Forest River. Also, always impressed with fit & finish, along with some of the build benefits at the price points they provide.

There are some with negative experiences with Forest River, and if you dig & look enough, many negative experiences with most to many RV manufacturers.

The wheel base is a little short to it overall length. I would try to find out how it handles and would also look at the CCC. Do you know what the CCC is? Also how is the actual weight distributed from the front axle to the rear?

We have a 2011 Berkshire 390bh and also have been very impressed with the product and the company. No major complaints and if they have the floor plan we want when we are ready to move to our next unit we would definitely consider staying with them.

I see what you are talking about with the wheelbase. It is one of the shorter out there. THanks.

. It is usually posted in the MH. Mine were written down in my manual. The salesman should be able to research this and get back to you. Most of them won't know and rather talk about outside TV. Some dealerships have scales which is the best way. Actual weight minus the GVWR will give you the CCC and front and rear axle weights so you can compare actual weights to the weight ratings in the specs. If the front is too light compared to the rear that could effect the handling. Most replies from people with DP's will be on longer ones.
