Haven't used the EBC's but I have used Hawks on my truck. They have superior friction to the stock pads. once they get a tiny amount of heat in them they get even better. They're really nice during stop and go traffic on the freeway they get just warm enough to make applying the brakes with a light touch enough to stop the truck and trailer with less effort.
However, I have found "Evolution Power Stop" to be a bit better. They brake as well as the Hawks even before they get warm.
Neither pad dusts as much as stock pads.
