I would not recommend that particular Country Coach. That coach was built just prior to the closing of CC and some folks think it was part of the reason they failed. The mid 2000's and earlier are generally considered better choices.
To your question of entry level 42' or higher end 40', I would vote for the higher end 40'. However, since you are looking at all your options, there are plenty of nice used 42' CC's available in the price range you stated... Allure, Intrigue, Magna's.
You really need to better identify your particular wants and needs then shop for a coach that meets those needs. When we last shopped for a coach, we wanted a tag not longer than 43', higher end, side radiator, at least 3 slides. We shopped until we found one that met those criteria.
