Your primary focus at this point should be floor plan. You need to find a floor plan that will fit your needs and wants not only while camped but while traveling too. After all, this will be your house on the road. Once you find a floor plan you want, then you can start narrowing down which brand and model has it, and if it matters, what engine and chassis. You can buy the motor you want, the chassis you want etc but it won't mean a thing if you end up hating the floor plan. And in the for what it's worth category - trying to buy your last RV first usually doesn't work out. Most folks go through several RV's until they figure out what they really want.
