cvbdsl,
Yes I have looked in the US, actually I started my search there knowing full well the market is there and Canada is just overspill. Although many units owned there are of Canadians (snowbirds) I am finding. Current the exchange is not in my favour and there is a bit of a mess about with importing. I have done it several times with other vehicles so I am not afraid of the process but it is a process and has potential complications.
I am no longer pusuing that unit as the gent is stuck on his price and I can't see the value as I would prefer a younger unit >2008 sacrificing trim and 3'. I am finding some good advice on here but am of course a bit leery on making the leap as it is a sizeable investment in a field I have no expertise, not accustomed to that.
J-Rooster,
I suppose with that thinking process it would explain how Thor is able to sell Tuscany's?
My understanding is they are an inferior product yet they do have a few things right such as floor plan. I am finding I can get a Newmar or Entegra for approx the same price (maybe 10% more) as a Tuscany. Do you recommend I just buy the Tuscany because I like where the TV is in relation to the couch? That is a tough one for me to accept as I don't think it is that easy.
Maybe if I were considering a smaller investment 40-50k I wouldn't be so neurotic. Not wanting to be confrontational but I a looking to purchase a unit that will sell in four years because it is known to be a respected brand and model.
