2009 Allegro QRP 43
2007 Newmar Montain Aire
Just looking at them and reviewing NADA prices, the Newmar seems to have the higher resale value and is decently priced to sell. Unfortunately they did not include the exact model but all 45' Mountain Aires that year are typically listed between $194K to $235K, a pretty wide spread. They are asking what seems to be a reasonable price at the lower end of NADA.
The Allegro Bus, though newer, is valued at between $166K and $200K and they are asking near the top end of that.
Based on my experience having gone through 3 MHs in two years:B - two Newmars - I would go with the Newmar for overall value and quality, plus future resale value. If you can get the model number, you can go the Newmar web site and get the brochure for that year with all the floorplans and options that were offered.
I have looked at Allegro Bus(s) of various years but there was never the same feel I got as in a Newmar. Also as I recall, there were reported issues with leaks and flooring, although everyone was extremely happy with the owners response in making repairs. You should research this aspect on an Allegro's owner forum to see if the 2009 year was involved.
So, in my (humble) opinion, the 2007 Mountain Aire would be the better bet.
P.S If you give Newmar the VIN, they will send you a copy of the original build sheet.
