We traveled for almost 10 years with two female cocker spaniels, but now one is gone and the other is too old to travel. We leave her at the Son's house when we go out for a trip. Our Daughter and her best friend had Chihauhaus, a female and a male, and from a couple litters we obtained two females, one a toy that weights 3.5 lbs, and the other a miniature that weights 6.5 lbs. Both are good travel dogs, but we kennel them driving down the road and at night. They both like the safety and security of their kennel, and most of the time when we go looking for them, that's where they both are.
