Sounds like you may have the temp control set to low. Also the hotter it is outside, set the temp control warmer not colder, the unit will cycle more often but will stay cold. Setting the temp colder will usually freeze the unit up and it will get warm in the fridge until it thaws out and the freezing cycle starts all over again. Also make sure the upper vent is open and the back of the fridge is free of all debris.
