I-90 is the best route but, if you care to go and visit the Devils Tower you can go to Sturgis thru the back route via Spearfish! My motorcycle riding days are dwindling but, I was in a motorcycle club that made Sturgis a mandatory run every year. Lots of great memories and we always stayed in Rapid City there was more stuff going on there during bike week!
