I certainly believe that for full timing this is definitely an area of concern and thought and the question has absolute merit. But for folks that are not full timing and don't like the cost of owning a MH in their own state (the state in which you live) I say it's sour grapes. You chose the state you live in and you chose to own a MH. You sort of have to reap what you sow. Not saying it can't be done in another state legally, but it's really not right. And at the end of the day we are talking about a couple hundred bucks a year. In most cases the more MH you bought, the more it costs to have it. Sans full timing, a MH is a luxury item you chose to buy. Either move to a MH friendlier state or deal with the consequences of your choices. I seriously doubt no one knew what they were getting into when they bought their MH as far as taxes and registration. If you can't pay don't play. This topic irritates me each time it comes up. Except for full timing this really shouldn't be a question.
