Best way to keep the sun's heat from the front away ?

We'd really appreciate any & all suggestions on what is the best way to keep the sun's extreme heat from coming in the windshield & front side windows of our Class A, when it is facing south at a camp...

For the sides use a good quality window film, doesn't have to be dark to block heat. For the windshield.... Use the film on the top half and when parked all you really can do is what others have said.
