..Here's one more vote for Magneshade. If you want the absolute best way to address this problem, look no further.
Yes, there are cheaper ways, that have already been mentioned. But, they all have their shortcomings in various ways (PITA to put on and off, blocks your view out the front, doesn't block the sun/heat very well, looks tacky, etc).
With the magneshades, it can easily be put on or taken off by one person in minutes, WITHOUT needing a ladder or step stool. no snaps to deal with on outside of MH, shade is held completely in place with magnets. And, it is almost COMPLETELY transparent. You can barely tell its on from your view out from inside. Yet it still does a great job of blocking out the sun/heat from the front.
JMO, but I think it really defeats one of the big advantages of a MH when you cover up that huge windshield up front with something like foil or reflectix that takes away your entire view up there. That big windshield makes an awesome 'picture window' when parked, and it just seems so wrong to cover that up during the day.
When we first got our MH 'bout a year and a half ago, the FIRST thing we got for it was a magneshade. I wouldn't want to travel in the summer without it, especially down here in the South where it can get so hot.
