I have thought about just taking it off, and putting slightly larger stainless screw in the same spot with a large flat head on it. then I could cover it with tape and be over it. Not pictured is a large storage box that is mounted on the roof. This I plan on repairing with fiberglass, then repainting painting white and reinstalling it the same location.
I will probly just taKe the darn thing off. The only thing it is doing is keepin me from falling off, if i decide to slide around the roof.
The roof on our new TT was recently replaced (long story) and I had them just leave the squirrel railing off.
