The Bilstein is pretty much a heavier duty stock replacement. It uses the stock mounting points and is, as such, non adjustable.
The Roadmaster, Blu-Ox, and Safe-T-Plus are adjustable, the Blu-Ox from inside the cab.

- fordman17ExplorerI don't know as have not seen anything about an adjustment.
- SFVdaveExplorerDoes the Bilstein steering damper do the same thing as SteerSafe? I installed the SteerSafe back in 05 and now it seems to have lost most of it's centering. Yes, I have adjusted the springs many, many times. I too am looking for something else like the steering damper from Bilstein, etc.
Can you adjust the Bilstein to correct pulling to the right or left like the SteerSafe? - fordman17ExplorerI ended up getting the Bilstein as i could not find a Roadmaster or a Safe-T-Plus listed for my E450 2003 Coachmen.
Just received it and have not installed it yet. - Kit_CarsonExplorerCongratulations on your accomplishment. Now, hope you have many happy travels.
- wearenhExplorerwell I tried to buy the Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer
1. tried to order on Amazon but only the RBK11 brackets were in stock, the RSSC "not currently available"
2. so... RVupgrades took my order, took 2 days to tell me not in stock until late July
3. then... etrailer took my order, took 4 days to tell me not in stock until late July
4. Started calling around, talked with several dealers, the last one said "nobody stocks these, all dropped shipped from factory"
5. Called factory in disbelief... even though they don't sell direct, the person was very nice... she checked and called me back saying, yes, none exist right now, not even a scratched one (I asked) ... and hopefully they will get the parts to make more in the next 4-6weeks...arrrgh
6. I then decided that I was meant NOT to have the RSSC, and that the price difference of the Safe-T-Plus was worth having it safely installed for our three trips upcoming between now and when the RSSC would be available. (oh the magic of justification, especially when justifying my acute immediate gratification problem)
Anyway, installed and thoroughly tested it today... I'm done! ... I have made the MH handle terrifically!... I need do nothing else! ... yippee! ... I had already done the Ingalls caster bushing alignment, 6 new tires, Firestone Airbags, and an Equalizer WDH, and they all made things better, almost good enough .... the Safe-T-Plus made it perfect... Wheel returns to center, drives straight on highway, no whiteknuckles being passed by busses...
I am happy! - tpiExplorerI'd say if your goal is to reduce sway, the heavier sway bars should help the most. I found it to be the most beneficial of the modifications I did to my class C.
I think everyone reacts to the handling cues in a different manner though. Probably one tactic doesn't fit all. - rcase13Explorer

Do yourself a favor and get a safetplus as an upgrade over stock. I put one on my e450 and now staying in the lane, and all those white knuckle 18wheeler passings, are a thing of the past. The safetplus is worth every penny at twice the price.
I get so confused. I have read a million threads and still get confused on what is the best thing to do to reduce the sway from passing 18 wheelers. The tour busses going 85 are the worst.
Obviously track bar in rear, steering stabilizer, sway bars and shocks all need to be replaced. Sad I have to do all this on a new 2013 RV. Which of the above will help the most with the sway induced by passing rigs? I guess steering stabilizer is the easiest and least expensive? - fordman17ExplorerThanks,i was looking last night and didn't find one listed for my E450,i'll look again.
