Once past the wif the water has a chance to rust the untreated high pressure injection lines. Fuel stations typically have fuel filters at/near the pump. How often does each station change the filters? Some stations use filters with a bypass that allows unfiltered fuel to bypass a clogged filter. This doesn't include the previous mentioned cleansing affect of the vehicle fuel system. The vehicle fuel system will not get every piece of dirt on the first pass. How many people have actually added additional filtration?
