This is good advise shop around and have it towed to a repair shop. I'm sure there are some good used engines around, or Internet rebuilt short blocks and use whats still good on yours. I use a local shop that is 1/2 the shop rate of dealerships. Someone pays for that pretty building they are in. I was a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury mechanic coming home from Vietnam.
