Blown out Hydrolic line on Slide

Mine is a 99 and another just started leaking so I was thinking of replacing all of them as 2 people told me once one goes, others are sure to follow. Has anyone replaced lines before possibly what the cost to have it done would be, or there abouts? Thanks

  • Thanks for the replys. I am in Temecula, Ca. I am taking it in to a RV repair shop tomorrow and see about changing all the hydro lines on my rig. My rig is old and so am I or I would do it myself. We shall see what kind of quote they give me. Thanks again for your responses

not sure where you are, but many agricultural areas have hydraulic shops that can build the hose(s) you need at a fraction of costs for what you would pay for a factory replacement. I use them on my farm equipment when I have to replace hoses

X-2 - Post your location and someone will surely be able point you in the right direction. I know of several spots in 2 different states.

  • Depending on where you are at when you do it. Neighbor just has one leak and it was going to cost him just about $7 per foot. They go when they go. Just make sure you don't have spots that can rub on anything. Work with hyd line from 1968 to 91 and they can last a long time. Make sure you put back a med duty braid hose and it will out last most of us.
