I quizzed one poster a while back about whether he could have kept his rigs in the lane if he had been anticipating the blowout and the response was something like "Absolutely not. That rig was going into the other lane whether I was ready for it or not."
What would you have expected him to say? If you watch any of the videos telling you how to handle a blowout, none of those drivers end up in the other lane or off of the highway. Obviously they were anticipating it so that sort of indicates that a driver can keep things under control and stay in his lane, if he reacts quickly and properly.
