Blue ox cable
I have a Blue ox coiled electrical cable that runs from M/H to Toad. I purchased it in 2010 from Blue ox. I have noticed that the outer covering of the cable has many cracks from one end to the other....

Blue Ox says "Do not leave attached" but .. That's what I do with mine.
If you are really worried.. Do something about it (Seal up the cracks smoehow)
There are some brush on liquid rubber products that might work.
