I have a Blue ox coiled electrical cable that runs from M/H to Toad. I purchased it in 2010 from Blue ox. I have noticed that the outer covering of the cable has many cracks from one end to the other....

Yes, I had the same problem. I was at Newmars International rally this last June and talked to a Blue Ox Rep. about this problem and he told me that there were some cables produced around 2010 that developed early cracks and he gave me a new one. If I were you, I would give Blue Ox a call.
