I installed one on my 2005 Monaco Diplomat. I loved it. I installed it three days before we left on a six week coast to coast trip. As stated, you can adjust it for side push from the wind or road crown. It won't stop sudden gusts, but does better than not having a stabilizer at all.
It's IMPORTANT to install it in a location where you can blindly reach down, without changing your driving position, and operate the switch. In windy conditions you'll adjust it numerous times. With that said, it becomes second nature within the first few hours of using it after install.
I didn't care for the switch that was provided,(it was a clunky starter type push button) so I bought a momentary switch that matched my other dash switches. It was easy to find at arms reach and manipulate. The unit was sold with the coach. My new coach has the same system, but built in. On Newmar it's called Comfort Drive and adjusts automatically for crown and wind every few seconds.
