Here's another question (probably a totally rookie one at that). Do these converters requite a separate distribution center, or am I able to wire the 12v lights, etc right to it?
In the current setup, there doesn't appear to be a distribution center, although there are loads of wires bundled together under the original converter - and I'm pretty sure these are the wires for all of the 12v gear. It was too much of a huge pain to totally take it apart this trip (the RV is parked about 3 hours from home and very remote) since we still needed power. So I'm thinking that the original has a built in distribution center, or everything is just harwired to the battery bank.
