Fighterpilot, I'm surprised that you want to give it up so soon. This unit is only 4 ft. longer than what you think would be perfect. What is the lay-out now (sofa's, etc.)? You can't sleep the whole family?
I can boondock forever if I have a 'honey-wagon' come by every two weeks! We have plenty of battery power and a solar panel. Only 'YOU' know what will work for you and your family. But, like the others, I would give it another whirl before throwing in the towel.
Not to criticize the Coachman, but they are not apples to apples in construction and quality as a Dynasty.
And, I have to ask, did you not think of how many people would be staying in the motorhome before purchase? Kids like tents or blow-up mattresses....you can get creative!
