Appreciate the encouragement, but need to sleep at least 6 and be able to strap in 3 to 4 children. The parents grew up with seat belts and are not comfortable if kids aren't strapped in. Booth dinette and some sofas will permit that. Years ago when we traveled with family and grand children the only people strapped in were the driver and the co-pilot. Times change. A dinette booth and a sofa sleeper are the minimum. Need to tow at least a 7 passenger car like a Honda Ody. 34 foot diesel pusher will do that.
Now that we have driven it realize some of the places we boondock won't work very well with this one. Also note on another forum the price of fuel at your local diesel station is usually less than the common truck stops, hence another advantage to the shorter MH. Go to Monacoers web site and read about the flying J, Pilot, etc. debacle going on and it was noted that truck stop prices for MHs are frequently higher than the neighborhood station with diesel.
So going to give this one up and start all over again.
