How often or what milage do the brakes need adjusting?

Depends on the individual dealer. Our local Ford dealer had a small building and could not get a large vehicle inside.
We were lucky to find a KAL Tire associate store close to us that have the size and facilities to work on large vehicles, cars to large trucks.
An RV dealer could do the work, if they have MH facilities (mechanics etc). The RV dealers near us only sell trailers and will not touch MHs.
